My experience with Allen Motors was very unique, the reason being is my residency is in Elk Grove, CA and the vehicle of course was located in Thousand Oaks, CA. For me this was a plane ticket and the gas back, total cost: $200.00. Although hesitant purchasing a vehicle sight unseen I did not hesitate in calling Jim Allen considering his web site was so thorough in describing the vehicle’s condition the cost and of course an already paid for Car fax. This made the whole car buying experience just that much easier. Now given the vehicles condition and such low mileage (17k miles on an 8yr old Truck) I could only assume the price would be far out of my pay scale. But, 1 or 2 phone calls to Jim Allen and the price was exactly what I could afford and minus the fees of what it would cost me for the trip out. And there I was on the plane to pick up my almost brand new truck. The experience was the best in which I’ve ever had at any car dealership, it’s only a shame their 300 miles away.
